Day 1 — Welcome to Rome

Your first day sets the tone for everything ahead. Airport transfers from

Fiumicino will bring you to your hotel in Rome, where you will settle in and

begin to orientate yourself within the city's remarkable surroundings. The area

sits within easy reach of Rome's ancient quarters — ideal for an initial wander

before the evening begins.

15:00 Transfer 3 from Fiumicino Airport

Your Travel Director will be available at the hotel to welcome all guests

arriving on coach transfers.

All aboard this exhilarating journey by high-speed train through Italy's most storied

cities. Over ten remarkable days, you will conjure up gladiators and chariots in the

eternal city of Rome, wander Florence's ancient Ponte Vecchio at your own pace,

strike a pose beside Pisa's improbable tower, and discover Venice on foot —

navigating its labyrinthine calli like a true local. This is Italy not as a postcard, but as

I have had the privilege of guiding travellers through some of the world's most

extraordinary destinations, and Italy remains among the most deeply rewarding. Its
